Nancy A. Huff-Nicklow, the 2014 US Small Business Association Maryland Insurance Advocate of the Year, has been working for Huff Insurance since she was 14. Her father, Ray Huff founded the agency and Nancy started working with him during summer breaks from high school. There is not one job in the agency that Nancy has not done, from filing, to reporting claims, to working in the personal lines and the commercial lines departments. Nancy has been a lifetime resident of Pasadena, Maryland. She graduated from Chesapeake High School and then went to Salisbury University where she graduated cum laude with a major in business administration and a minor in psychology. Since graduating college Nancy has still be attending school, and has obtained her Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, Associated Advisor of Insurance (AAI) and Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS). Nancy was president of the Independent Insurance Association of Maryland in 2002-2003 and currently serves on the National Agency Council of Technology (ACT) committee. Nancy attends Harundale Presbyterian Church in Glen Burnie. She has a daughter, Allie and a son Dalton. Her son is very active in sports and attending soccer, football or baseball games is a regular event. Dalton has played for the Bucs, Pasadena Baseball and Lake Shore Soccer, Lake Shore Baseball, Chesapeake High Baseball and Indoor Track. Nancy enjoys relaxing on their beach and spending time with family and friends.
